Free Camping |
There are numerous opportunities to free camp. In the winter months (Oct.-April)
you will be restricted to the coastal regions becauseof the cold weather in the
mountains. (Mount Olympus is over 6000ft. in height). At present Cyprus has not
yet caught on as a destination for winter motor caravanning. On our last winter
visit we were the only foreign Motorhome on the island. It is very peaceful.
There is very little crime on the island. Most problems are caused by tourists
in the high season.

4. Potomas (off Xylophaghou-Ayia Napa road)
5. Various car parks on the Larnaca Beach Strip
6. Ladies Mile Beach (Limassol)
7. Curium Beach (near Episkopi)
8. Pissouri Bay (Cape Aspro)
9. Aphrodite's Rock area
10. Yeroskikpos Tourist Beach (Luna Park) Car Park
11. Coral Bay area
12. Ayios Yeryios (Cape Depanum)
13. Lara Bay (Turtle Hatchery) Check road conditions
14. Akamas Peninsula (Check road conditions)
15. Baths of Aphrodite area
16. Lachi area (Harbour)
17. Potomas Point (Signed fishing shelter)
18. Pakayammos (Car park over looking church)
